The Social and Psychological Sciences Club


Purpose: The Social and Psychological Sciences Club is for anyone who has an interest in psychology or sociology. They have planned and implemented many awareness events:  Research Day in 2016 and bake sales. They are also devoted to helping students advance in their subjects.

Computer Technology Club


Purpose: The purpose of this club is to be an all-inclusive organization focused on promoting and advancing the students of Helena College, particularly those in the Computer Technology program. This club will strive to strengthen the interactions and relationships within the student body. This club will also support relations within the community to better connect the members to the local populace.  Computer Technology Club (or "Tech Club") was organized last year. Students interested in technology join the club for professional development opportunities, creating or programming cool devices, and unwinding at game nights.

TRIO CLUB-Students 2 Scholars


Purpose: TRIO CLUB-Students 2 Scholars is dedicated to enhancing the educational of students served by TRIO programs and their supporters.  The club will provide opportunities for students served by TRIO programs with the opportunity to support their peers through informal peer mentoring, and educate the Helena community on the needs of students to successfully complete a higher education degree.  TRIO club-Student 2 Scholars allows students involved to serve their local and immediate communities to engage in mutually engaging relationships that expose individuals to the initiatives of TRIO, as well as the tools necessary for college success.

HBIA Club


Purpose: HBIA Student Chapter is the student branch of the Helena Building Association. As design students and members of the National Associate of Home Builders, HBIA Student Chapter is active in the Helena community of home builders and national housing and building news and events.

MSEA: Montana Student Educators Association

Purpose: The purpose of this organization is to assist college students in exploring elementary education as a career choice.  Also, the club wishes to advocate for education of all people, provide awareness of/support schools and students who are in need of assistance, service and outreach to the Helena College student body, Helena and Helena regions, develop professional training opportunities for pre-service educators, provide experiences beyond the typical college setting of pre-service educators, and encourage lifelong learning.

Student Government Association (SGA)


Purpose: Student Government Association (SGA) is involved in numerous activities including putting on holiday themed parties, participating in community service projects, making decisions how funding is spent, and other various activities.  This semester they will be prioritizing student concerns as they are newly affiliated once again with the Montana Associated Students (MAS).

Newspaper Club (Helena Helm)


Purpose: Newspaper Club is responsible for the publishing of the Helena Helm, covering both school news and local interest stories.  Do you have an interest in writing or advertising? We welcome anyone interested in contributing, may that contribution be big or small.

Veterans’ Club


Purpose:  Veterans’ Club is about supporting veterans and their families.  They welcome anyone interested in supporting veterans and their families.  They are looking to do community service this semester including volunteering at the Helena Food share and look to do two fundraising events to support programs in the area that help veterans.

Future Machinists of America (FMOA)

Purpose:  The Helena College FMOA club is a local chapter of the organization, Future Machinists of America. The purposes of FMOA is to promote the machining industry, connect students with industry jobs, develop stronger machining skills through the learning and production of member agreed projects, and build relationships with businesses and the community. The club often takes on tasks and community service projects requested by members of the Helena area.
